Next Step Foundation advances SDG 3 by providing accessible, 24/7 mental health support to marginalized youth who often lack timely and culturally relevant care. Through Tumaini AI, a Swahili-language mental health chatbot, young people can receive confidential guidance, emotional support, and mental health resources at any time, helping reduce stigma and improve overall well-being in underserved communities
In support of SDG 4, Next Step Foundation delivers inclusive digital skills training that prepares young people for high-growth jobs in the AI-driven economy. Our Nikkoworks platform equips learners with practical generative AI-related skills, creating pathways to meaningful employment and income generation while expanding access to quality, future-ready education for underprivileged youth.
Next Step Foundation contributes to SDG 8 by empowering businesses to build inclusive teams and unlock underutilized talent. Through Nafasi AI, an AI-powered disability inclusion platform, Kenyan businesses are supported to identify, recruit, and retain Persons with Disabilities, promoting decent work opportunities while driving sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
